Logging in to other users’ accounts by administrator

Important The following instruction is intended only for administrator of the entire system

As the system administrator, we can log in to the accounts of users we have previously added to the system. We can log in to another user’s account, e.g.:

  • To check whether the user is performing their tasks correctly,
  • In order to provide technical support to the user,
  • In order to verify the authorizations of a given user,
  • To troubleshoot user account issues.

Logging in to another user’s account

To log in to another user’s account as an administrator, we must go to the “Users” in the top menu. 

Here we can see the list view of all users. Next, we select the user whose account we want to log in to from the list.


In the user’s detailed view, we need to click on the icon, in the upper right corner of the window. The system will automatically take us to the login window.


In the login window, we enter the email address and password of our administrator account. We may not always be asked to log in to the system again.


Using the system as another user

After entering the appropriate data, we have the option to use the system as another user. 
We are informed about the use of an account other than ours by a red bar at the top of the screen.


On the red bar, we have the “Turn off view as user” option. This will log us back into our main account.


Important! Any changes we make on another user’s account will be visible in the changelog. The change will show both the user whose account we made the changes to and the specific administrator who made these changes.
