Company groups

In the Firmao system, each user can have their own individual group of companies and can be assigned to a common group. This functionality allows us to determine groups or people responsible for the company added to the system. Company groups are visible in the details of a given company in the “Salespeople” field.

Important! Having administrator of the entire system and administrator of the CRM sales department permissions we do not have to be assigned to any group of companies to have access to them.


How to add a new company group?

Each newly added user to the system constitutes a separate, single-person group and is automatically entered into the “Company Groups” module.

However, if we want to create a new group, we need to select the “Company groups” module, and then in the upper right corner of the window click the green “Add a group” button.


The “Adding company group” window, in which we complete its name and select which person or persons are to be responsible for a given group, will open.


To save the group, click the green “Create” button in the lower right corner of the dialog box. The newly created group will then appear in the list view. 

Tip: We can create a new group of companies based on the previously created one. To do this, we need to select the checkbox next to the group which data we want to copy from the list view. Then we have to click: “Add based on selected”.


How to assign a group as salespeople to the company?

In order to assign a group as salespeople to a given company, we need to go to “Companies” module. Then we have to go to the detail view of a given company by clicking the company name from the list view.


In the details of a given company in the “Salespeople” field, we need to select the appropriate companies group from the list.

Important! In the Firmao system there are permissions responsible for the visibility of invoices, offers and tasks of their companies: 

If a given user is given one of these permissions, e.g. access to all tasks related to their companies, then they will see all the tasks of the companies to which they are assigned to as a salespearson. The same applies to the permission responsible for the visibility of invoices, offers, and orders.
